- Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the opening date. Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, supervision, and any incidentals necessary to Renovate Bldg 530 IAW the Specifications and Drawings. The work includes but is not limited to: replacing HVAC systems, remodeling rooms, demolishing walls, installing raised flooring, updating wall finishes, floor tile, and walls. The work is to take place on Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo, TX 76908. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 236220 and the small business size standard is $33.5 million. This acquisition is 100% HubZone Set-Aside. Only proposals from HubZone businesses shall be considered for award. The magnitude of this project is more than $10,000,000.00. Performance time shall not exceed 665 calendar days after issuance of the Notice To Proceed (NTP). All responsible sources may submit a proposal to be considered. The solicitation will be available via FedBizOpps website on or about July 31, 2009. The solicitation due date will be on or about August 31, 2009 with anticipated award date on or about September 30, 2009. All requests for clarification relating to this Request for Proposal (RFP) must be brought to the attention of the contract administrators Ms. Maria Cachola at (325) 654-4547, faxed to (325)-654-5149, or e-mailed to maria.cachola@goodfellow.af.mil or 1Lt Kevin Sanaghan at (325) 654-4418, faxed to (325) 654-5149 or e-mailed to kevin.sanaghan@goodfellow.af.mil. In accordance with FAR 52.236-27 all offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. A site visit will be conducted on or about August 10, 2009. Access to the site will be limited to the organized site visit only. The exact date and time of the site visit and propsal due date will be stated in the solicitation package. The government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the requirements of the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 in order to receive award. CCR information can be obtained at www.ccr.gov or calling 1-888-227-2423.
