- The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Joint Munitions & Lethality ContractingCenter Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey 07806- 5000, on behalf of PM IED Defeat/ Protect Force has a requirement for the commercially available Track Width Light Weight Improvised Explosive Device Rollers- (Operation Iraqi Freedom) (TWLWIEDR-OIF ) which are currently supporting Army operations in Iraq. The requirement also includes Home Station Training Lane (HSTL) Small Spare Part Kits to repair/sustain TWLWIEDR-OIF systems. The Army also requires Operation Enduring Freedom Track Width Rollers (OEFTWR), Full Width Conversion Kits(FWCK), Sustainment Spare Parts Packages Large and 300 ea Extension Brackets to sustain previously fielded OEFTWR systems in theater. The Government intends to fulfill this requirement via a 3 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) commercial contract with an estimated maximum contract value of $49,000,000. It is the Governments intent to award this action on a sole source basis to Pearson Engineering LTD under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a) (2), only one responsible source. It is anticipated that this solicitation will be posted on the US Army JM&L, LCMC Procurement Network website located http://procnet.pica.army.mil and https://www.fbo.gov/. Please note this notice does not constitute a Request For Proposal (RFP). The RFP is intended to be issued on or about 30 July 2009. The deadline for all proposals will be 14 days after issuance of the RFP.
