- On or about 31 July 2009, this office will issue a Request for Quotes for work to be performed at Pickstown, SD. The principal components of the work to be performed include removal and replacement of gearbox seals and oil, and replacement of the external transmission shaft bearings and couplers in 21 spillway gate hoist systems (two hoists/system). Contractors interested in inspecting the site of the proposed work should contact Russell Kieffer at 605-487-7845 ext. 3006, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, P.O. Box 199, Pickstown, SD 57367. This solicitation will be set aside for SMALL BUSINESS PARTICIPATION ONLY under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 811310-Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance- with a size standard of $7.0 million. Please be advised of on-line registration requirement in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database http://www.ccr.gov/ and directed solicitation provisions concerning electronic annual On-line Representations and Certification (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. Representations and Certifications are required to be updated annually as a minimum to keep information current, accurate and complete. The electronic annual representations and certifications are effective until one year from date of submission or update to ORCA.
