- SOW SOW This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD (a) NAICS CODE: 811310 (b) NR of employees: 500 To repair and reinstall an industrial air compressor at building 83. The air compressor is part of an air compressor plant that supplies air for pneumatic tools and equipment used throughout the flight line buildings. Mfr: Air Compressor Sales, Inc Sole Source Justification: The compressor was taken to the manufacturer for warranty work, but was later discovered that the warranty was not applicable. Air Compressor Sales, Inc is the company contracted to repair the compressor, and sending it to another company would cost the government substantial duplication costs not expected to be recovered through competition. Price(s) should be FOB Destination (Robins AFB GA 31098). In addition to price and delivery, quote should include your cage code, DUNS number, and taxpayer ID number. Requested delivery date is 30 days ARO or earlier. Quotations should be emailed to felicia.rivers@robins.af.mil no later than 28 July 09, 10:00 a.m. EST. Quote validity date should be at least 30 days. The anticipated award date is 4 Aug 09. Please do not request award status prior to this date.
