- NAVAIR NAWCAD Lakehurst intends to enter into a sole source agreement with General Electric Company for the procurement of fifteen (15) each Power Turbine Rotor Horizontal Support Fixtures (P/N 21C1029G001). These fixtures are needed to provide support for the Power Turbine Rotor Assembly for storage or visual inspection. General Electric Company is the original manufacturer of these Horizontal Support Fixtures and owns the proprietary rights to the technical data which is required to identify dimensions, interface requirements, materials used, and performance limits. The Government intends to procure these fixtures under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Section 6.302-1. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
