- Description
- The above referenced solicitation is hereby amended to respond to technical questions submitted and incorporate changes to technical specifications. The due date for quotations remains unchanged 1.) Questions and responses are hereby provided QUESTION 1: It is equipped with fluorescence capabilities but what fluorochromes will need to be imaged, what fluorescence filter sets are required? RESPONSE 1: The microscope should include the 6-position turret and necessary filter cubes for mounting filters, but does not need to include the filters themselves. QUESTION 2: All lenses are brightfield, is a 10x phase objective required? RESPONSE 2: 10x objective does not need to be optimized for phase contrast. QUESTION 3: An extra laser port is a requirement and can be placed into the fluorescence reflected light path but should this laser port be separate from the fluorescence reflected light path and have its own optical path above or below the fluorescence turret? RESPONSE 3: The second laser port should couple into the existing reflected illumination path. QUESTION 4: Is a dual lamp house adapter required? RESPONSE 4: Dual lamp house adapter is not required. 2.) The following changes are hereby incorporated to the specifications under Line Item 0001. 2.1) Specification #2 changed to read as follows: FROM: Epifluorescence capability and 6-position reflector turret TO: Epifluorescence capability and 6-position reflector turret with necessary filter cubes for mounting filters, but does not need to include the filters themselves. 2.2) Specification #4 part C changed to read as follows: FROM: Additional input port for epifluorescence laser illumination TO: Additional input port for epifluorescence laser illumination must couple into the existing reflected illumination path
