- The purpose of this amendment is to clarify the Technical Requirements below. The Quote Due Date is July 23, 2009. NOTICE OF SBSA THIS IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE (SBSA). OFFERS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED FROM QUALIFIED SMALL BUISNESSES. STATEMENT OF WORK Satellite Radio Multi-Platform Antennas BACKGROUND: The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) needs the capability to communicate via satellite communications (SATCOM) between moving vehicles. DTRA needs additional multi-platform SATCOM antennas for their non-military vehicles. OBJECTIVES: The objective of this purchase is to procure twelve (12) multi-platform, magnetic mount antennas meeting DTRA requirements defined below. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Satellite Radio Multi-Platform Antennas Quantity:12 ea. PROFILE: LOW PROFILE, DOME TYPE ANTENNA WITH MAGNETIC MOUNT, SUITABLE FOR MOBILE GROUND VEHICLE USAGE. (“WING”, “EGGBEATER” OR “FOLDABLE” ANTENNAS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED) FREQUENCY:240-320 (SATCOM) * Gain: 5 dBiC (zenith SATCOM) Pattern:Omni-directional Power:200 watts CW Weight:7 lb. max Connect:N Female Temperature:-50 to 71 C Mount:Magnetic mount to steel bodied vehicles Environmental: MIL-E- 810 *THE ADDITIONAL CAPABILITY OF A LINE OF SIGHT(LOS)FREQUENCY OF 225-400 IS NOT REQUIRED,HOWEVER IS TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE.
