- This is a sole source requirement to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, 6900 Main Street, Stratford CT 06615-9129 for engineering services needed to support the USAF HH-60G Pavehawk helicopter fleet. Requirement will include material, subcontracting and other direct costs, travel, and data. The period of performance is anticipated to be one year. SAC is the only known source in possession of the complete engineering design, maintenance, repair, and overhaul data for the airframes and dynamic components. The Government's technical data package does not contain the detailed design data, engineering analysis, and maintenance analysis required to define and correct HH-60G maintenance, operational, and safety deficiencies. Sikorsky is the only possessor of this comprehensive knowledge for the HH-60G helicopter. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described services. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
