- RECOVERY--This action is being procured as part of the American Recovery and Re-Investment Act (ARRA) of 2009. All questions regarding this SYNOPSIS should be submitted in writing to the following E-Mail address: Stephanie.murphree@usace.army.mil. This Acquisition shall be competed on an Unrestricted Basis (Full and Open Competition). This synopsis is for the purpose of a pre-solicitation notification only. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District intends to issue a solicitation to provide one (1) Dump Truck, Mack GU 803 (or equivalent), 6-Wheel-Truck with RTE American CMSS Hardox 45 Series Dump Truck (or equal). One truck will be traded in with the purchase of the truck described above. The truck to be traded in is a 1995 Ford F Series truck with Cummins 5.9 L Engine, Allison Automatic Transmission, six yard Acrysteel dump bed with extension, steel dish wheels, radial tires, pintle hitch, and trailer connections. Additional specifications will be included in the solicitation document. The contract type will be a firm fixed price contract and item shall be delivered within 90 calendar days from the date of award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this program is 336120, and the Classification Code of RECOVERY2320, and a business size standard of 1000 employees. The Government will award a contract resulting from the subsequent solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and past performance considered. This solicitation will be issued via Internet only on FedBizOpps Website at www.fbo.gov. Notification of amendments shall be made via FedBizOpps only. It is the contractors responsibility to check the below-listed Internet address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. No corrections and/or changes to proposals will be allowed after the proposal submittal due time and date. Estimated solicitation issue date is on or about the estimated date of August 14, 2009. Quotations are anticipated to be due on or about September 14, 2009. Contractors must be registered and current with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), in order to receive a Government contract award.
