Description
We intend to purchase a MultiRam and RamScope III from Bruker Optics, Inc., 19 Fortune Drive Billerica, MA 01821with accessories. The required salient qualities are: 1 RFS27 FT-Raman Spectrometer "MultiRam" Flexible rapid scanning spectrometer for FT-Raman applications in the analytical and research laboratory. Equipped with an extensive analytical software package. The spectrometer is suitable for the collection of Raman spectra with laser excitation at 1.064μm. To make up a complete system the following components are required: - Filter set F452 - Laser for Raman-excitation with adaptations, R510-N (500mW) or R513-1000/R (1W) - Detector with adaptations D424/0 or D418-T/R27(A detector of D418 type is highly recommended). Optionally the instrument can be configured with a second measurement channel for a second excitation line, for details see Multiram specifications and options. For control of the spectrometer optics and signal processing a PC-based data system which might be quoted below is required (we recommend to order the data system with the spectrometer optics in order to make sure that the system performes flawlessly). The requirements for a suitable data system are available on request. Raman: Sources 2 R513-1000/R Nd:YAG LASER, diode pumped, P=1000mW 1220004716 Recommended: - Laser safety goggles, see R573-1064DL5 Depending on measurement device and application leaking of Laser radiation is possible. In case of Laser class 3B and 4 products the operating company has to cater for appropriate protective equipment. Raman: Detectors 3 D418-T/R27 Ge detector (liquid N2 cooled), long hold time, NIR, high sensitivity design, liquid nitrogen hold time >5days incl. adaptations Raman: Filters 4 F452 Laser rejection filter system for filtering the exciting laser radiation and for suppression of the laser radiation mixed into the Raman signal (primary and secondary filter) for 1064 nm excitation (for use in channel 1 only) 5 R201 Extension of spectral range to 50cm-1 Stokes Shift Raman: Ext. Measurements. Channels 6 R353/R Input port for Raman radiation (E3) via fiber optic cable SMA connector, computer controlled 7 R356-1/R Exit Port for Laser Radiation (X6), computer controlled Raman: Focusing Units 8 R531/R Expansion of laser beam for reduction of the power density of the exciting laser radiation for use with highly absorbing materials. The accessory is operated under computer control. Raman: Sample Stage 9 R313MHRU Upgrade to motorized xyz-sample stage; motorized translation stage, translation 9.5mm for each axis, stepsize 50μm vertical and horizontal sample holder; requires R348/R or R348-VA/R for horizontal sample holder in lieu of standard sample stage, surcharge 1220004716 Raman: Focusing units mic. 10 R293-F1 Servo-assisted z-Control including Autofocus-Function required: computer controlled stage R293-U Raman: Microscope 11 R590/R RAMANSCOPE III, FT-Raman microscope For the investigation of small sample areas with the NIR-FT-Raman technique (operating with 1064nm laser radiation). The microscope is designed to be easily connected to the BRUKER FT-Raman module FRA106/S, RAMII or the FT-Raman spectrometers MultiRam, RFS100/S via fiber optic cables. Maximum distance between spectrometer and Raman microscope: 1.5m (other distances available on request) The Ramanscope III includes: 1. Olympus BX51 reflected light microscope with: - DF/BF illuminator - trinocular head with eye pieces• - digital color video camera - manual XY stage - 40x objective mounted on quintuple nosepiece 2. Raman microscope attachment with: - Coupling module for use with 1064nm excitation, - optical fibers for guiding radiation from Raman laser and Raman scattering, - enclosure: Class 1 Laser Safety with interlocks, (the RAMANscope III is classified as a Laser Class 1 device in standard configuration) 3. OPUS/VIDEO Required: - R353/R and R356-1/R for connection with MultiRam or RAMII; - R354 and R355 for connection with FRA106; - R353/0 and R355/0 for RFS100 - Detector D418-T - Data system with USB 2.0 port Raman: Sample Stage Microscope 12 R293-SU Computer controlled sample stage Adjustment range: 75mm x 50mm Adjustment accuracy: 0.1μm Repeatability: better 1μm 1220004716 Requires: OPUS/MAP and OPUS/3D software in lieu of standard (manual) stage, surcharge OPUS Spectroscopy Software 13 O/IR+ OPUS/IR, FT-IR Spectroscopy Software Package This software package is included in the delivery of a spectrometer. 14 O/3D-N OPUS/3D, Software package for 3D data processing, 1GB RAM recommended 15 O/MAP-N OPUS/MAP, software package for control of x-y sample stages. 16 O/SR-N OPUS/SEARCH, Extended Search Software Package For editing structures and structure search the OPUS/STRUCTURE package is required.
