- RECOVERY-THIS NOTICE IS BEING PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A SOLICITATION. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO GLACIER ELECTRIC CONSTRUCTION UNDER SBA REQUIREMENT NO. 1084-09-905410 IN ACCORDANCE WITH A NON-COMPETITVE SBA 8(A) PROGRAM AWARD PROCEDURES. The full solicitation package inclusive of the statement of work and specifications will be available to July 20, 2009. Reference 70181RQ002. The posting will occur July 20, 2009. Quotes are due July 31, 2009. Project Information: Base Bid:The selected contractor will supply all materials, labor, equipment, and supervision to install Vertical Pivot Lift security gates on two vehicle access roads at the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters in Soldotna, AK. Contractor is responsible for making all electrical connections including all trenching, conduit, and junction boxes. Contractor will make final connections to bring system on-line to an operational condition. Additive Bid Item One:The selected contractor will supply all materials, labor, equipment, and supervison to install 650' of fence connected to automatic vehicle security gates on the shop access road to provide increased security. The fence will be 5' high, 9 gauge galvanized steel chain link, with 2" line posts, 10' on center, 1 5/8" top rail, with concrete posts. The awarded contract will be firm fixed price and shall be FOB destination. Award is contingent upon the award recipient meeting the requirements of Section 1512 of the Recovery Act.
