This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for this requirement. The applicable NAICS Code for this action is 561720. See attached files for complete Statement of Work (SOW), all required clauses and provisions pertaining to this solicitation, and complete listing of locations. To be considered for award, all potential contractors must be registered in the federal government Central Contractor Registration database. Registration information can be completed through www.ccr.gov, or calling toll-free: 888-227-2423. Quotes may be submitted in any format contractor shall choose, but must completely address all requirements of this solicitation, and include the following at a minimum: (1) Company Name, Address, Telephone Number, e-mail Address, Fax Number and Point of Contact; (2) Solicitation number; (3) Price; (4) Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), Contractor DUNS number, and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code. Quotation closing time: July 22, 2009, 4:30 PM Pacific Standard Time. All Offerors assume full responsibility for ensuring that quotes are delivered or postmarked for delivery by the quotation closing time and date. All late submissions, or quotations received postmarked after the closing time and date will not be considered. Offerors responding to this announcement shall submit written quotes to: US Customs and Border Protection, San Diego Sector 2411 Boswell Road San Diego CA 91914 ATTN: Ivette Jorge, Contract Specialist Phone: 619-216-4106 All questions regarding this combined synopsis/solicitation shall be provided in writing to luz.jorge@dhs.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. This requirement will be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price Contract with the following period of performance: Base Period: August 1, 2009 through September 30, 2009 1st Option Year: October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010 2nd Option Year: October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011 3rd Option Year: October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012 4th Option Year: Ocober 1, 2012 through September 30, 2013 This contract will be awarded for the base period. All option year periods are at the discretion of the government, and are generally considered based on the needs of the government. Site Visits: Site visits are mandatory in order for the vendor to take the necessary measurement, dimensions, and other pertinent information that will allow for the submission of a proper and valid proposal. Vendors who submit a proposal without a site visit will not be considered for award. Site visits are scheduled for Thursday, July 16 and Friday, July 17, 2009 at 8:00 AM PST.
