Description
RECOVERY - Lower Colorado River Multi Species Conservation Implementation, Wetland Delineation, Laguna Habitat Restoration, Project # LC187864 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE NUMBERS GS-10F-0335R, GS-10F-0361L, GS-10F-0234L, GS-10F-0331S, GS-10F-0320L, GS-10F-0076J WITH THE CORRESPONDING BLANKET PURCHASE AGREEMENT NUMBERS 08PB301061, 08PB301062, 08PB301063, 08PB301064, 08PB301071 AND 08PB301211. This project will be partially or wholly funded from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). Project Description: The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement for field study of sample points to characterize the existing hydrological, soil, and vegetative conditions for the Laguna Restoration Project, south of Imperial Dam. These points should be placed in marginal wetlands or uplands to accurately define the wetland boundary and ensure of sufficient wetland data collection. While inspecting the sample points for the wetland delineation map, the Contractor will collect soil from these holes. Sufficient sample quantity shall be collected to perform various specialized analyses. Seventy-five (75) samples will be collected for soils analysis. Samples will be sent to a professional lab for analysis. Samples will be prepared by the selected lab (i.e., drying and grinding) and analysis will minimally include soil pH, ECe, P, K, texture-by-feel, NO3-N, Zn, Fe, Cu, Mn, SO4-S, and organic matter. Contractor will provide draft reports for review by Reclamation and address all of the review comments and make revisions, as necessary to submit a final report Type of Procurement: A firm-fixed price task order will be awarded based upon the best value offered the Government The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541620, Environmental Consulting Services, and the Small Business Size Standard is $7.0 million. This solicitation will be issued electronically only to the BPA holders listed above. Proposed Issue Date: July 20, 2009.
