- This Project falls under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set aside for HUBZONE businesses. NAICS Code238320. The Project is for the exterior painting @ the National Park Inn located at the NPS Mount Rainier National Park, Longmire, WA 98397. Work includes painting wood elements as required. Project walk thru may be inspected informally daily between 9:00 and 4:00 p.m. Site visits with an NPS representative shall be arranged in advance, through the Contracting office between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The Contractor shall note the historical significance of the site upon which the work will be performed. Because of the historic nature of this site, certain aspects of the work of this contract will not be carried out with materials and/or methods commonplace in the modern construction industry. It shall be incumbent upon the contractor to furnish mechanics who can execute first-class workmanship in the materials and methods specified and who will take any necessary precautions to protect the elements of this historic site not scheduled to receive work. Specifications will be available on or about 7/20/09. Quotes are due on August 17,2009. Contractor shall begin work within 10 days after NTP.
