- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Agilent Technologies, 1834 State Highway, 71 West, Cedar Creek, TX 78612, for the following line item(s). The equipment to be ordered is as follows: 1) Catalog #401449, Mx3005P QPCR Systems 110V w/Notebook Comp. CDC believes that this requirement can best be provided by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy the Agency's requirements. No solicitation is being issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which, if received by the response date, shall be considered by the Agency. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
