- Description
- This action was originally posted as W9127S-09-B-0017 a conversion was made on 16 May 2009 converting the procuremnet to W9127S-09-R-0054. Provide all labor, tools, transportation, materials and supplies required to complete the tile work as listed on the Scope, and as specified herein. Contractor shall remove all carpet and vinyl base boards in all rooms and offices except as noted. Contractor is responsible for preparing all floor and base board surfaces to manufactures specifications prior to thin set and tile application. The total square feet of the tile installation is approximately 4008 sq ft. The total linear feet of base board 1450 lf with 983 of this being 6 base and 368 of this being 4.5 base. Contractor will be responsible for the removal and re-installation of office furniture and miscellaneous items as needed to complete the work specified herein. Contractor will be responsible for repair of plaster, drywall, or other surfaces that may be damaged during the performance of this scope. Contractor shall install tile base boards using the same tile as specified at a height of 6 on interior walls and 4.5 in height on exterior walls. This shall be set in place on varying surfaces to include wood paneling, painted drywall and concrete. It is the contractors responsibility to use the correct adhesive depending on manufacturers recommendations. All grout will be sealed with a manufacture recommended grout sealer to prevent staining of the grout and dirt buildup. Contractor shall complete tile installation in the entire visitor center prior to starting the office portion of the job.
