- RECOVERY--ARRA Construction Project: Rehabilitation, repair and improvement of existing roads and parking areas for access to recreation and public use areas through gravel overlay, chip seal, paving and pothole repair, and crack sealing. Areas include the following: recreation sites at Lake Sacajawea (Ice Harbor Dam), Lake Bryan (Little Goose Dam), Lower Granite Lake, (Lower Granite), and Mill Creek Dam; Dent Acres Camp and Grandad Road at Dworshak Reservoir; and the dam crest at Little Goose Lock and Dam. Day Use parking lots at Charbonneau Park on Lake Sacajawea will be included as an optional area. The work will be performed in the following counties: Asotin, Benton, Columbia, Franklin, Garfield, and Whitman Counties, Washington. Clearwater and Nez Pierce Counties, Idaho Multiple awards may be made as a result of this solicitation if the Contracting Officer determines it is economically advantageous to the Government. This project is subject to availability of funds. Invitation for Bids No. W912EF-09-B-0017 will be posted to the FBO website on or about July 31, 2009. Bids will be due no sooner than 30 calendar days after actual solicitation issuance date. Important Note: The FedBizOpps Response Date listed elsewhere in this synopsis is for FedBizOpps archive purposes only. It has no relationship to the actual bid opening date. The bid opening date will be contained in the solicitation and any solicitation amendments that may be issued. A site visit will be offered approximately 2 weeks after the solicitation is made available to bidders. See solicitation for site visit details. Solicitation is open to both large and small business concerns. NAICS code for this project is 237310, and the small business size standard is $33,500,000 average annual receipts. 100% performance and payment bonds will be required. Total estimated magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Magnitude of construction by individual site is as follows: Ice Harbor Project, between $500,000 and $1,000,000; Little Goose Project, between $250,000 and $500,000; Lower Granite Project, between $500,000 and $1,000,000; Mill Creek Project, between $25,000 and $100,000; and Dworshak Dam, between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
