- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of various milk products for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Complex located in Terre Haute, Indiana. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a base period of 12 months. The estimated contract requirements for the base period include: 5,400 bulk 5 gallon bladders of 1% milk; 500 bulk 5 gallon bladders of chocolate 1% milk; 1,728,000 ½ pints of 1% milk; 20,000 ½ pints of chocolate 2% milk; 2,000 five(5)lb containers of cottage cheese. The solicitation will be available on or about July 20, 2009 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about August 17, 2009. The solicitation will be issued unrestricted. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 424430.
