Description
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) proposes to enter into a sole source agreement with Enlightened Leadership Solutions, to purchase a copyrighted leadership seminar entitled, Enlightened Leadership – Making Managers into Leaders, development of a questionnaire, twenty six (26) copies each of two books entitled, Enlightened Leadership: Getting to the Heart of Change and Leadership Made Simple: Practical Solutions to Your Greatest Management Challenges, and post-seminar individualized coaching. Enlightened Leadership Solutions’ staff includes one of the authors of the book “Enlightened Leadership: Getting to the Heart of Change” and “Leadership Made Simple: Practical Solutions to Your Greatest Management Challenges.” These books are copyrighted and cannot be used by any other source without permission. The period of performance of this effort two months from date of award, tentatively scheduled to begin in July 2009. Requests for copies of this solicitation will not be honored unless the respondent provides evidence showing their capability to perform the required services. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source as there is only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this requirement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any response must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested parties must submit technical capabilities and any other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the NRC's needs to Meghan C.
