- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a request for proposal. There will not be a solicitation issued at this time. The 375th Medical Group, Scott AFB IL, has a requirement for 28 (twenty-eight) XTS2500 762-870MHZ 1-3 Watt 870 Channel Land Mobile Radios, Manufacturer P/N H46UCF9PW6BN, Manufactured by Motorola. This is a Brand Name Acquisition due to the 375th MDG requirement to solidify emergency response systems with St. Clair County and the communication equipment is standardized to maximize interoperability to the greatest extent possible using the Motorola system infrastructure. Only the Motorola radios are fully functional and compatible with the county emergency system. The applicable NAICS code is 334220, Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing. This is a one-time buy. This notice is published to conduct market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) capable of performing the requirement to warrant a solicitation set-aside. Interested parties responding to this sources sought request shall submit the following information at a minimum: 1) company name and address, point of contact with phone number and e-mail address; 2) DUNS number; and 3) that you are a SDVOSB. The response date for this Sources Sought Notice is 17 July 2009 at 4:00 p.m. CST. This market research is for informational and planning purposes only to determine if a SDVOSB set-aside is appropriate. The Government will not pay for any costs for responses submitted.
