Description
This announcement is to provide notification of the Department of Veterans Affairs intent to enter into a sole source agreement with Fisher Healthcare, 9999 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038-2499 for Biosite Triage BNP testing to include instruments and reagents. Fisher Healthcare will provide these items to the Albany VA Medical Center. This agreement will be for a twelve month base period with four one-year option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423450 and the Small Business Standard is 100 employees. Any interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide Triage BNP testing instruments and reagents. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements must provide written notification to the Contracting Officer by Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. (local time). Information should be sent to Ms. Deborah Heckman, Contracting Officer, at Deborah.Heckman2@va.gov. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
