Description
Devils Lake City, Ramsey County, North Dakota Devils Lake Flood Risk Management-Devils Lake City Embankments-Phase 1, Raise to 1466.2-Creel Bay Reach. The work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all plant, labor, material and equipment to raise the existing embankments around the Creel Bay of Devils Lake from elevation 1461.2 to 1466.2 for a reach beginning immediately south of the intersection of HWY 19 and 79th Ave. NE, extending south approximately 1.5 miles to the curve before Eagle Bend Pump Station. The work also includes abandoning the old Creel Bay pump station and building and transitioning to a new pump station. The pump station will be a concrete, constructed-in-place pump station with an intake headwall and discharge gatewell. The pump station includes 4 pumps for a total capacity of 100,000 gallons per minute. The estimated price range for this requirement is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 with a small business size standard of $33.5 million. The solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) and will be posted with specifications on www.fbo.gov on or around July 23, 2009. Depending on the results of the Sources Sought Announcement, it is anticipated that the requirement will be issued as a 100% set-aside for Hubzone small business concerns.
