Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2 - Albuquerque, New Mexico is requesting proposals on solicitation number 201819R029 to provide new current year park visitor transport vehicle(s) with the following minimum requirements: (1) Propane powered primary vehicle(s) which can carry up to 14 seated passengers with possibly two carts that will carry safely and efficiently 28 passengers each cart, with disc brakes, independent wheel steering on trailers, roof exhaust system with noise dampening features; ADA Seating with flip seats to accommodate up to 2 wheelchairs, wheelchair tie downs, and ramps; PA, AM, FM, CD, DVD audio system with speakers; and related miscellaneous. (2) up to 3 - 13 passenger plus driver electric shuttles, 72 volt systems, 5KW DC Industrial Motor and related miscellaneous. (3) up to 3 - 10 passenger plus driver electric shuttles, 72 volt systems, 5KW DC Industrial Motor and related miscellaneous. The NAICS Code is 333924, Industrial Truck, Tractor, Trailer and Other Vehicle Manufacturing; and 421110, Automobile, and Other Motor Vehicle Wholesalers. The solicitation is solicited unrestricted, both small and large businesses may submit proposals. The vehicles will be used in the Lower Rio Grande Valley in Texas. Delivery and acceptance of the vehicle shall be at Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge, Alamo, Texas. The timeline for delivery of the vehicle will be included in the solicitation when posted. The solicitation package will be available for download via the National Business Center (NBC) website: http://ideasec.nbc.gov/j2ee/login.jsp, use the quick search box to access the solicitation number. Postings will also be linked to the NBC via the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov on or about 08 July 2009. Prospective contractors shall also be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to participate, website http://www.ccr.gov.
