- RECOVERY--Solicitation number W91278-09-T-0046 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This solicitation is American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funded and is set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 333120. The CLIN is specific to the following description of the Trencher Ditch Witch RT40 or can be equivalent with accessories. Item No. 0001, QTY 1 Each: ENGINE Oil cooled, emissions-compliant diesel engine, with 3 cylinders, that produces 39 net horsepower mounted on tractor frame. With a 13 gallon fuel tank, minimum. HYDRAULIC SYSTEM The ground drive pump capacity should fall in the following ranges @ 2500 rpm: 29.3 gpm; ground drive pump relief pressure @ 2500 rpm: 3750 psi; attachment pump capacity @ 2500 rpm: 29.3 gpm; attachment pump relief pressure @ 2500 rpm: 5000 psi; auxiliary pump capacity @ 2500 rpm: 10.2 gpm; auxiliary pump relief pressure @ 2500 rpm: 2500 psi; filtration return/charge full flow: 15 psi bypass. POWER TRAIN Ground Drive Transmission: Hydrostatic drive, infinitely variable from zero to maximum, foot-pedal and hand-lever operated speed/direction control; Differentials: Dana model 44 or equal; Service Brake: Ground drive speed/direction control brakes machine hydraulically when moved to neutral position; Parking brake: Disc, hand-operated; Attachment Drive Transmission: Hydrostatic, lever-operated, speed infinitely variable from zero to maximum forward with limited stroke reverse OPERATOR STATION Adjustable seat; Easy access to controls by operator; Automotive-style hydraulic power steering; Coded controls INTERLOCK SYSTEM Interlock system that requires the operator to be in the seat of the machine before starting and while the machine is in the work mode. Also, this function will cause the machine not to start if the chain is in the engage mode. And warning indicators will alert operator which of the functions is not in the proper position. BACKFILL BLADE A six-way hydraulic backfill blade controlled with a single handle control from the operators position. Blade mounted on the front of frame. Blade will have a maximum width of 64 in and have a lift of at least at 12 in. above grade and 8 in. below grade. Hydraulic tilt angle must be a minimum of 11 degrees up and down to match ground contour. TRENCHING ATTACHMENT Maximum Trench Depth 52 in and Center Width 12 in (Offset Width is 8 in); Large Tail Roller Boom, 50,000# Shark Combo Chain, Dual-position with hydraulic slide, can be accomplished without removing chain or boom. BACKHOE ATTACHMENT Maximum depth is 72 in, reach from swing pivot 102 in; bucket rotation 132; Stabilizer spread 104 in; Bucket, heavy duty 12 in; Must be front mounted with operator centered over boom and remote throttle control and tow valve for operator convenience. WARRANTY Minimum of One Year Standard manufacturers warranty, Plus a minimum of two years power train and hydraulics warranty. Copy of standard warranty is to be provided with bid.
