- AEM F76/Storage Supplemental Solicitation SP0600-09-R-0033-0001 Description: This is a 10-month bulk fuel requirement of Fuel, Naval Distillate F76 and storage for DFSP Augusta, Italy, with four, one-year option periods. Details of the requirements for this procurement are as follows: Fuel, Naval Distillate (F76), NSN: 9140-00-273-2377 Specification MIL-PRF-16884L; dated October 23, 2006 Base Year Quantity: 14,000,000 U.S. Gallons (USG), Purchase Program 1.1b Annual Option Year Quantity (four options): 19,000,000 USG Total (including four options): 90,000,000 USG Contractor owned storage with the capability to hold a minimum of 120,000 BBLS is required to guarantee a continuous supply of F76. Delivery Period: The delivery period is from September 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010, plus a 30-day carry-over period. The 30-day carry-over period allows for the delivery of orders placed prior to the end of the ordering period. In addition, there will be four, one-year option periods. The delivery period for the first option will begin July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011. The delivery period for the last option will be from July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014. Each option will include a 30-day carry-over period. Solicitation Availability: This solicitation will be available on the World Wide Web at www.fedbizopps.gov and http://www.desc.dla.mil on or about July 2, 2009. If you intend to submit an offer, you are requested to return a completed and signed Supplemental Solicitation Package to the DESC Bid Custodian before the closing date and time to facsimile 703-767-0488. E-mail offers are authorized via BulkFuelsBidCustodian@dla.mil. All responsible sources with the capability to meet the requirements may submit a proposal for evaluation. An item under this acquisition may be subject to an agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979.
