Description
THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR AIRCOMPRESSOR. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This noticeserves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will notbe issued.The purpose of this amendment is to answer Technical Questions submitted as a result ofthe site visit that took place on June 24, 2009. They are as follows:Question #1: Referencing Section 3.4 ACCEPTANCE - The vendor must demonstrate the systemwith the full capacities per our facilitys Task Performance Sheet (TPS) for theacceptance and training (one day minimum) after the completion of the installation. Canwe get a copy of this sheet referenced above? Answer #1: Yes. The TPS Sheet is an internal NASA document that is used to verify theproduct delivered meets the Statement of Work requirements and acts as a referencedocument stating that acceptance has occurred. The TPS Sheet can be viewed at:http://procurement.jsc.nasa.gov/NNJ09295675Q/JF1225C-AirCompressorCheckout_FL.doc Question #2: Standard piping is carbon steel. Should we quote stainless steel as optionfor piping coming from compressor?Answer #2: Both stainless steel or carbon steel will fulfill our requirements. The due date for receipt of offers is not extended.Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASAAcquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on May 27, 2009. Documents related to thisprocurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web(WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
