Description

The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to a SDVOSB, Oologah Technologies Inc., Stennis Space Center, MS, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(5) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-5(b)(6). The Statement of Work describes tasking for Digital Seafloor Sub-Bottom Characterization support. The required follow-on effort will process hardcopy to digital chart conversions supplementing geo-acoustic databases. This effort requires specialized knowledge and understanding of NAVOCEANO’s scientific computing infrastructure, Sub-bottom database population procedures and GIS software applications. Based on project history, it is anticipated that this tasking will require approximately 885 labor hours over a one year period. Contractor personnel shall work on-site at Stennis Space Center, MS within a classified environment requiring a security clearance. A T&M type purchase order is anticipated. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
