- Description
- Patient Loading Systems (PLS) -- FA4452-09-Q-A032. The Air Mobility Command (AMC) Specialized Contracting Branch intends to acquire 42 patient loading systems, to include a first article test unit with incremental delivery of follow-on production units to multiple delivery site locations. The patient loading systems are to interface between the ground and medical transportation high deck aircraft (KC-135, KC-10, and C-40) and Civil Reserve Air Fleet (CRAF) aircraft (B-767 DC-10 airframes). The solicitation will be issued as small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333924 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. It is the intent of the AMC Specialized Contracting Branch to award a firm fixed priced purchase order to one contractor, offering the lowest total priced technically acceptable quote meeting the stated requirements for all line items, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. Descriptive literature and/or drawings, and first article test plans, are to be submitted with quote. The solicitation will include product essential characteristics identification and first article verification information. Solicitation will include FAR clauses 52.212-3, Offer or Representations and Certification - Commercial Items; 52-212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; 52-212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders - Commercial Items (Deviation); and 52.209-3, First Article Approval - Contractor Testing. Anticipated solicitation date is on or about 15 July 2009.
