Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1), with Design Workshop Inc, for 1) dw-2000 Includes: All Angle Layout & Editing All Angle Boolean Operators Aspect Ratio Unlimited Undo/Redo Hierarchical Editing Modes Graphics Programming Environment (GPE) GDSII User Definable Button Interface: 1 ea. 2. dw-2000 Layout Editor - Software Maintenance Software Maintenance Fees - 12 months NIST Center for Nanoscale Standards and Science has a requirement for the above referenced Software and related maintenance to run with current licenses already being used at NIST. Design Workshop is the originator/supplier of the software and the only vendor known to be able to provide the required Software and related maintenance. DW-2000 software is currently being run with two available license seats. Due to demand, a third seat is needed. The services provided by Design software will provide better quality overall and improve efficiency for office work processed, as well as improve customer services. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed- price purchase order. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; however, companies that believe they can fulfill the requirement may provide a written response to this notice and provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate that capability. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition.
