Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia, PA intends to award a firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract for a five year period for Radar Tank Level Indicators (TLIs) and Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) TLIs which shall be used onboard U.S. Naval Ships to measure tank volumes for DFM, JP-5, Potable and Feed Water, Ballast, CHT and Waste Tanks. This procurement will also include TLI enclosures to accept the TLI signals and flat panel computers and associated equipment to display the tank level indications. Only requests made in writing or email will be considered. This is a competitive procurement and will be full and open competition. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334511 and has a size standard of 750 employees. Award for this requirement shall be made on a lowest price, technically acceptable basis. Solicitation will be available to download from FEDBIZZOPPS.GOV or NECO.Navy.mil on or after 29 June 2009. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The solicitation package will be available electronically - no hard copies will be sent.
