Description

For the procurement of five (5) Sets of Structural Gear, six (6) Sets of Proximity Gear, six (6) Sets of Natural White Gear meeting US Miliatary Specifications (Note: each set consists of pants and coat.), for 88 Civil Engineering Flight (Fire Department), Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. NAICS Code 339113, and Size Standard 500. This is a Sole Source procurement. Synopsis published for informational purposes only. Solicitation documents are not available. This proposed contract action is for procurement of a service for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. The proposed source is Fisher Scientific, Suwanee, GA 30024. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the government will consider all quotations/responses received within four (4) days of the issuance of this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Additional Notes: Fisher Safety, a division of Thermo Fisher Scientific, is the only authorized ditributor for Morning Pride protective clothing, Morning Pride helmets (Ben2 Plus & Ben 2 plus replacement Parts, Lite Force Plus & Lite Plus replacement Parts, Morning Pride gloves and Morning Pride hoods (including the proprietary ventilated hood) to the United States Military. As the Marketing organization that Morning Pride Protective Clothing falls under, Total Fire Group has authorized Fisher Safety to be the sole distributor for the US Military.
