This notice is for informational purposes only. this opportunity is available only to contractors awarded Blanket Purchase Agreements B2000070050 Louis Berger; B20000070049, Mactec; B2000070051, Tetra Tech and B2000070052, Weston. In accordance with the terms and conditions of the Blanket Purchase Agreement, the National Park Service intends to award one firm fixed priced task order that will be competed among the the BPA holders above for the work described below: In accordance with the terms and conditions of the Blanket Purchase Authorization, the Contractor shall perform the work of this task order for the National Park Service (NPS) as described below, necessary for the preparation and completion of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process for up to six (6) environmental assessments (EAs) to assess closure options and environmental impacts to mitigate safety and environmental hazards at abandoned mine lands (AMLs) in 10 units within the Intermountain Region of the National Park Service, and one (1) CERCLA Response Action for the Old Yuma Mine at Saguaro National Park: Mitigation of High Risk Abandoned Mine Lands in NPS Units in Arizona. This EA will assess closure of AML sites in 5 NPS units: Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, Grand Canyon National Park, Coronado National Memorial, Saguaro National Park, and Chiricahua National Monument. For the Red Horse Extension Mine in Chiricahua National Monument, preliminary work including performing site surveys and historical research may or may not determine that the AML is not eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places, that the AML features and closure design would have no effect on federally-listed species, and there would be no measurable impacts from hazard mitigation work proposed. In the event this study finds that a categorical exclusion under NEPA applies, this mine site would not be included in the EA to be prepared for the parks in Arizona. Plugging/Reclamation of 14 Orphaned Oil and Gas Wells and Re-Plugging 2 Wells in the Neches River and 1 Well on the River Bank, Big Thicket National Preserve, Texas. This EA will assess plugging up to 14 orphaned wells and reclamation of abandoned wellpads/access roads, and re-plugging 2 oil and gas wells located in the Neches River and 1 located on the bank. Mitigation of High Risk Abandoned Mine Lands in Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, Colorado. This EA will assess closure of 1 AML site. Preliminary work including performing site surveys and historical research may or may not determine that the AML is not eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places, that the AML features and closure design would have no effect on federally-listed species, and there would be no measurable impacts from hazard mitigation work proposed. In the event this study finds that a categorical exclusion under NEPA applies, an EA would not be prepared for this mine site. Mitigation of High Risk Abandoned Mine Lands in Glacier National Park, Montana. This EA will assess closure of 2 AML sites (Bullhead and Van Pelt Mines). Mitigation of High Risk Abandoned Mine Lands in Glen Canyon National Park, Utah. This EA will assess closure of 1 AML site. Preliminary work including performing site surveys and historical research may or may not determine that the AML is not eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places, that the AML features and closure design would have no effect on federally-listed species, and there would be no measurable impacts from hazard mitigation work proposed. In the event this study finds that a categorical exclusion under NEPA applies, an EA would not be prepared for this mine site. Reclamation of Abandoned Sand and Gravel Pits in Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve, Colorado. This EA will assess reclamation of 13 sand and gravel pits along 1.7 miles of Sand Creek and the reduction of whirling disease. CERCLA Response Action for the Old Yuma Mine in Saguaro National Park, Arizona. This work will include preparing an Engineering Evaluation and Cost Analysis (EE/CA
