Description
DRAFT ITIM and EA PWS The Department of Education (ED's) is conducting a market survey to SOLEY identify HUB Zone firms with the requisite knowledge, skills and capacity for an up-coming, Fiscal Year 2009 requirement. ED has a need to acquire technical and management support services for the Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO), to ensure the successful execution of its Information Technology Investment Management (ITIM) and Enterprise Architecture (EA) programs. The ITIM and EA programs together form the framework for information technology investment portfolio management at the Department. Accordingly, ED seeks a contractor who possesses strategic business planning and investment management capabilities, to support the agency's goals and objectives by providing the following services (non-inclusive of all required services): completion of, regular updating, and publishing of ITIM and EA artifacts, policy, processes and guidance in a format that is approved, understandable, and usable by the Department; ensuring that the use of the ITIM and EA by the Department are effective tools for management and planning; and ensuring that the positive results of using ITIM and EA to achieve the Department's goals are appropriately planned, tracked, and reported. Successful execution of referenced tasks will be ultimately evidenced by the effective and efficient management of the Department's information management investments. Hub Zone firms are asked to provide the following information in their capability submissions: (1) Business Size (2) A listing of all active GSA or other schedule contract you hold, and (3) A listing of all active certifications and security clearances, as they relate to this requirement. All submissions shall not exceed 10 pages (to include cover page, text, graphic, tables, etc.). Responses should be submitted in MS Word with page sizes of 8.5 x 11 inches, Times New Roman Font Size, 10- 12 pitch, with no less than single spacing between lines.
