Description
Market Research Questionnaire - Adult Literacy Education Instructor Services THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the government. The Federal Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Adult Literacy Instruction Services to be provided for inmates at the Federal Correctional Institution located at Memphis, TN. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611699 (Size Standard: $7.0 million). The requirement will be for two (2) Adult Literacy Instructors to provide services for an estimated 47 weeks per contract year. Each instructor will provide approximately 30 sessions of service per week with a session being defined as one (1) hour in duration. The maximum amount of sessions to be worked per week is 30 sessions per instructor. The sessions will be Monday through Friday normally between the hours of 7:30a.m. to 2:00 p.m., excluding federal holidays. The hours may vary contingently upon the needs of the institution. Instructors should possess, at a minimum, a Bachelor's degree in Education or closely related field from an accredited college or university. Instructors must have experience teaching adults to read and write and not less than one year of experience teaching in a correctional setting or comparable setting. Proof of qualification must accompany the quote submitted for services. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period with four 12 month option periods for renewal. A Government solicitation document to provide these services is currently being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted at this time for the purpose of determining interest and capability of potential sources currently available for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The Market Survey Questionnaire will be available on or about June 19, 2009 and will be distributed solely through General Service Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The response date for the market survey is July 8, 2009. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone request or written requests for the market survey will be accepted.
