Description

Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a Sole Source Fixed Price Incentive-Type contract to Rockwell Collins, Inc., 400 Collins Road NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498-0001, for the Block II modification to the E-6B aircraft, pursuant to the authority provided in 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.” Under the proposed contract, Rockwell will integrate and install the Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) Family of Beyond Line of Sight Terminals (FAB-T) and the Multi-Role Tactical Common Data Link (MR-TCDL) in the E-6B Systems Integration Laboratory and into one (1) E-6B Block I aircraft. A Solicitation is not available at this time. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the Agency.
