Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY; PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND WITH A PROPOSAL. The Contractor shall provide Medical Transcription Services to include all equipment for the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers, VISN 20 all facilities as listed: Alaska VA Healthcare System, Anchorage, Alaska, VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics, White City, Oregon, VAMC Spokane, Washington, VAMC Boise, Idaho, Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial VA Medical Center, Walla Walla, Washington, VA Puget Sound Health Care System, Seattle, Washington and VAMC Portland Oregon. The services to be provided are digital dictation, traditional, and correction editing medical transcription services using vendor supplied Medical Dictation Equipment. This shall include management software/consoles for use by both the VA and the Contractor. The dictation and subsequent transcription includes a high incidence of technical and medical terminology and knowledge of specialized medical vocabularies and include radiology for some stations. The estimated lines for each year are 8,695,848. The most stringent Turn Around Time (TAT) is three hours and the most extended TAT is forty eight hours. Transcription services shall be performed every day of the calendar year (including weekends and holidays) 24 hours a day, and will be accessible to the VA within required Turn-Around-Times (TAT) identified in this contract. Contractor will transcribe dictated reports utilizing headers and footers and all required formats. The Contractor shall perform all transcription and verification work within the United States of America or its territories.Subcontracting is not allowed. Contractor must be performing electronic medical transcription service for at least three other Medical/Surgical Facilities of similar work load. Contractors must have been in the electronic medical transcription service business for at least three years and have fully trained qualified transcriptionists on staff.
