- The Oklahoma Army National Guard is conducting market research for services to supplement a pre-mobilization training event as follows: Role players and livestock to act as Civilians on the Battlefield. A total of eight (8) role players are required, which shall be a mix of men and women. A minimum of four (4) role players must be of Afghanistan origin. Individuals must serve to create the most realistic training event possible, be culturally accurate, able to act and react to situations based on cultural, social and religious attitudes common to the region, speak Pashtun and Arabic. All role players must speak Arabic and wear culturally accurate wardrobe. Contractor shall be solely responsible for all material, labor, tools, equipment, travel and meal expense, lodging and any other incidentals to perform services. Livestock shall include a minimum of six (6) animals, which shall consist of sheep, goats and cattle. Contractor shall be solely responsible for controlling, feeding, transportation, shelter, and cleanup for livestock. Location will be Camp Gruber, near Braggs, Oklahoma. This is not a request for proposals, and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. This is a synopsis research and informational purposes only in order to determine the availability of services. Information shall serve as market research to determine procurement strategy and possible set aside of the requirement for one of the socio-economic categories listed below. Appropriate procurement strategy will be determined after consideration of industry response to this Sources Sought Synopsis. The Government is not obligated to, and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis.
