- Description
- The VA Medical Center, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, North Carolina is seeking potential sources capable of providing competent, quality, (12) Monthly Preventative Maintenance service calls on San-I-Pak Mark VII Unit/342 w/slides, to include a parts discount of 10% and on site labor discount of $20.00 per hour on all work completed in addition to preventative maintenance. The serviceman will report between 08:00am-12:00pm, by no later than the last day of each month, with at least three (3) weeks between maintenance visits. The following is a brief description, or work to be performed each time preventative maintenance is completed. Estimated time to perform all tasks takes approximately four (4) hours. THIS IS NOT THE COMPLETE DESCRIPTION LIST: Run and check operation of unit, insure all controls function properly, manually operate all safety interlocks, adjust all limit switches, insure compactor cycle operates properly, insure sterilizer cycle operates properly, inspect all electrical fuses, connections, and indicators, service hydraulic oil filter and strainer, along with 36 other performance tasks. The applicable NAICS Code is 811219 with a size standard of $7.0Million. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Responses to this sources sought notice should include the following: name and address of company; business size (large or small); identify whether or not firm falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories - 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned; firm's experience in providing shredding service in a professional setting and any other pertinent information, which demonstrates ability to meet the above requirement.
