- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation Snake River Area Office has a small business set aside commercial item requirement to replace the side and bottom seals on both 20' x 21' radial gates at Cascade Dam with new neoprene seals. The Contractor shall furnish the following one piece solid bulb and tail seals for each radial gate, which all have a common cross section including a bulb diameter of 1.75?, a stem width of 5?, and a stem cross sectional thickness of 9/16?, with tolerances of +/- 1/16? (.063?) for all dimensions. The radius between the bulb and stem shall be 5/16?. All dimensions are shown on the Drawings. Molded side and bottom seals shall be factory-vulcanized to the fully molded one-piece outside corners to provide one continuous seal for each gate. Seals shall be delivered without drilled bolt holes, and will be marked and drilled on-site by government forces. Complete specifications and drawings will be available under RFQ 09SQ110090. PDF copies of the drawings can be requested via e-mail if there is difficulty accessing them with the solicitation. E-mail requests for the drawings can be sent to MDAY@USBR.GOV Vendors must be registered in CCR to be eligible for award of contract. Responses must include completed clause 52.212-03 or ORCA registration confirmation. TIN and DUNS numbers must be included with responses. Complete responses are due by NOON Wednesday June 24th, 2009. Estimated award date 6/25/2009.
