- Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center - Fort Sam Houston is conducting market research for Weapon Rack Systems. The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies for which the Government intends to solicit for a brand name specific weapons rack system. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government to compete the proposed requirement as a Non-Brand Name Specific requirement will be based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses to this notice should include: 1) Contractors capability to provide a Weapons Rack System comparable to the Secure It Weapons Security Solutions M84 System. 2) Company size in relation to the applicable North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) 423440, size standard 500 Employees; 3) Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code; 4) The socioeconomic status of the company, i.e., small business concern, 8(a) business, HUB Zone small business, small disadvantaged business, woman-owned small business, veteran owned small business, or Service disabled veteran owned small business; and 5) Point of Contact information to include name, email address, telephone and fax numbers. Responses to this notice should be e-mailed to the Contract Specialist, Ms. Shariyun Alberty at shariyun.alberty@us.army.mil and the Contracting Officer, Ms. Brenda S. Johnson at brenda.johnson12@us.army.mil Responses must be received no later than 4:00pm CDT on 26 June 2009.
