- As a follow-up to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Market Survey Capability Assessment for Oceanic Data Link Telecommunications System/Service dated 4/8/09, the FAA is soliciting competitive proposals to provide telecommunications services in support of designated FAA Air Traffic Control Systems. This program supports the FAA's ATO-E Oceanic and Offshore Directive. These telecommunication services are detailed in the attached Screening Information Request (SIR) DTFAWA-09-R-08289, to include all attachments. Proposals will only be accepted from those Offerors who responded to the 4/8/09 Market Survey. The FAA anticipates an award of a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract except for Engineering Services Task orders which are time and material (T&M); with a one-year base period and four one-year options. Please note that the closing date of this SIR is Friday, July 10, 2009, 10:00 AM, EST The FAA will not be liable for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this solicitation. Therefore any cost associated with responding to this announcement is solely at the Offeror's expense. Prospective Offerors are hereby on notice that any amendment(s) issued to this solicitation will be published at http://faaco.faa.gov/ under the current announcements for the FAA Headquarters. It is the Offeror's responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement. Point of contact (POC): Your POC for this requirement is the Contract Specialist, Sev Kasparian, who will confer with the Contracting Officer as needed. At no time should your company contact the Program Office to find out additional information on this requirement. Doing so could put your company at risk for being excluded from the competition.
