Description
F402 Engine TPS Spares This a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N68335-09-T-0159 is issued as a Request for Quote. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334519 with a size standard of 500 employees. This procurement is set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. The Government intends to purchase F402 Test Program Set P/N 3654AS5900-1/-2 spare parts that are listed in the attachment to this synopsis/solicitation. The contractor shall extend to the Government full coverage of any standard commercial warranty normally offered in a similar commercial sale. Acceptance of the warranty does not waive the Government’s right under the inspection clause, nor does it limit the Government’s rights with regard to the other terms and conditions of the contract. In the event of a conflict, the terms and conditions of the contract shall take precedence over the warranty. This warranty period shall begin upon final acceptance of the applicable deliverable. All items shall be preserved, packaged, packed, and marked in accordance with the best commercial practices. All items shall be delivered within 150 days after contract award. Items will be shipped to: NAVAIR ISS Facility, Bldg 612 Bay 12, MCAS Beaufort, Beaufort SC 29904 M/F: Beverly Moody, (843) 522-3900/3909. All items will be shipped FOB DESTINATION with Inspection and Acceptance at Source. The provision at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions To Offerors – Commercial Items (JUN 08) applies to this acquisition. Award will be made to the lowest priced offeror. Offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations And Certifications -Commercial Items (JUN 09) with the quote. FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms And Conditions-Commercial Items (MAR 09) is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition.
