Description
The Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) located in Oklahoma City, OK has a requirement for the Acquisition of VAX to UNIX end-to-end solution in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. The Period of Performance is anticipated to be 07/01/2009 through 09/30/2009. The DOT/FAA anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed-Price type purchase order. All offers are due by 3:00 p.m., Central Standard Time, on Monday, June 29th, 2009. Quotes shall be submitted by facsimile at (405) 954-3030 or e-mail at monica.rudolph@faa.gov. Please reference RFQ DTFAAC-09-R-06070. The evaluation criteria for the offers will be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. This RFQ is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of proposals. Therefore any cost associated with the proposal submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined. The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 541519, Other Computer Related Services. Prior to award of a purchase order, all contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration, www.ccr.gov.
