Description
Repair CE Headquarters Heating System Location of work: Eielson AFB, Alaska THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY for Repair CE Headquarters Heating System on Eielson AFB, Alaska. OFFERS OR PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. THIS IS NOT A PRESOLICITATION OR SOLICITATION. The contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, equipment, supervision and tools necessary to: Install a complete, operational glycol heating system in building 2258 that will meet the heating demands of the building and adjust the glycol supply temperature based on outside air temperature to maintain a comfortable working environment with easily accessible thermostat controls for the building occupants. The system must be capable of providing an indoor air temperature of 74ºF when the outdoor air temperature is -60 ºF (unless otherwise specified) and allow effective control to maintain comfortable indoor temperatures when the outside air temperature reaches 0F to 45F. The heating system must extend throughout all four floors in the main portion of the building and integrate completely with the equipment previously installed for the glycol system. The work will also provide and install a new metered high pressure steam supply line and associated condensate return line between the existing basement steam mechanical room and the new heat exchanger mechanical room. The system will include appropriate drip legs, end of line traps, and a pressure-powered condensate station. The project was designed in a phased approach to allow phased implementation. Contractor shall comply with commercial and industry standards, and all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations and procedures. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
