- RECOVERY Roofing Repair and Maintenance. A request for quote, Firm Fixed Price, was posted to GSA e-Buy on 15 May 2009. The requirement was initially posted as a construction RFQ since the majority of the funding was for replacement of roofing. The GSA Contracts have the construction portion of roofing and the maintenance portion of roofing in two different schedules; therefore, the RFQ was modified to only cover the maintenance and inspection of the 18 designated roofs. The construction portion will be resolicited at a later date. This major change to the solicitation caused the initial closing date of 22 May 09 to be changed to 10 Jun 09. The requirement was for maintenance on 18 specific roofs located on Malmstrom Air Force Base (MAFB). In accordance with FAR 13.104, Promoting Competition, eleven contractors were contacted via eBuy to request quotes.
