Description
The salient characteristics are as follows: Suitable for the ventilation of adults, children and infants, and covers the widest range of ventilation parameters. It operates reliably and provides alarms and monitoring similar to those found on more sophisticated ventilators. The clinician is able to alter the inspiratory and expiratory phases of ventilation to allow for critical patient requirements and can also provide essential ventilatory support options such as positive end expiratory pressure (PEEP). Portable, compact and lightweight, this ventilator has the flexibility and endurance to be moved with the patient providing optimum ventilation in both emergency situations and during the transport of the critically ill.
