Description
The FAA Alaska Region has a requirement to develop a COMPLAN interface. Due to the fact that COMPLAN is a registered trademark product of Optimal Satcom and can only be used under license, the government intends to procure this work sole source through Optimal Satcom. This effort will include: -Developing a set of test cases for testing the interface between COMPLAN and the FAA system. Provide a draft copy of the test cases to the FAA. The test cases will include the following: Functional tests – these will test that the interface is correctly implemented, and can be used to transfer data between the two systems without errors. The tests will test all mechanisms of data transfer, ensure that specified data items are available, and are correctly transferred from one system to the other without errors being introduced. Performance tests – these will test that the interface meets the performance standards for speed specified in the ICD. Accuracy tests – these will test that measurements made and verify that they are within the specified accuracy for the applicable type of measurement. Install of the test system on an FAA provided Test Server. The test system will include configuration of COMPLAN software and necessary databases, and configuration of interface parameters. The entire suite of functional, performance, and accuracy test cases will be run. These tests will be performed on a live system monitoring the FAA’s active plans on all transponders. Provide a one-week system training on planning, operations, and trouble-shooting using COMPLAN and the interface. Both the qualified instructor and the necessary temporary licenses will be provided for the training.
