- Description
- Statement of Work (SOW) for Production Printing and Photography Support Services. The Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Activity/Missile and Space Intelligence Center (DIA/MSIC), Building 4545, Fowler Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5500 intends to enter into a contract with Buster D. Walker, Inc.; 515 Town & Country Drive NW; Huntsville, AL 35806. The contract shall be have a 12 month base period with two option years to provide part-time printing and photography support services at the Missile and Space Intelligence Center. The effort will provide printing and photography support to include the operation of Xerox production printers and their associated computers and related systems; operation of various Print Shop equipment; performance of hand collation and lamination; skilled in the use of various professional digital photographic equipment; be knowledgeable in the operation of the Kodak ML500 Professional System; coordinate with and interact with Xerox Analysts and Technicians for equipment operation and maintenance of various industry equipment. Buster D. Walker, Inc. is currently the only known source who employs personnel with the required security requirements and possesses the expertise to accomplish the requirements of this effort. In conducting this effort, the contractor shall perform in accordance with the tenets and requirements contained within the Statement of Work (SOW) entitled “SOW - Production Printing and Photography Support Services.” The SOW file is contained within the FedBizOps announcement. FAR solicitation provisions 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications – Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions – Commercial Items; and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders – Commercial Items are applicable to this requirement. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: 1) All contractor personnel assigned to this effort shall be US citizens and shall have a final TOP SECRET SCI security clearance based upon an up-to-date extended or special background investigation. 2) The Printing and Photography Support Services is a “part-time” only requirement. Contractor can expect no more than 4-6 hours per day, four days per week. No solicitations shall be issued other than this notice. Proposal submissions are due not later than close of business (4:00 CST) on 22 June 2009.
