Description
The New Mexico Veterans Affairs Health Care System (NMVAHCS), located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Integrated Controls, 3204 Candelaria NE, Albuquerque, NM on behalf of the VA Cooperative Studies Program Clinical Research Pharmacy Coordinating Center (VA CSPCRPCC) to provide maintenance, testing, repair and upgrades of on-site alarm, security, access control and fire protection systems. All systems are integrated into one comprehensive system and channeled to a single graphic display. One contractor is required to provide support to all of these systems as they are integrated into a single touch screen computer console located in Security. Additionally, the contractor must be in close proximity to the VA CSPCRPCC to allow for immediate resolution of problems and update software. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT IS AVAILABLE AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Office within 10 calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability and qualifications of the firm to provide these services. If no responses are received, the NMVAHCS will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Integrated Controls. NAICS Code: 561621, Size Standard is $12.5 million.
