**This procurement will be 100% funded by Recovery Act funding** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912P8-09-R-0087. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-27 This solicitation is a 100% HUBZONE small business set aside. The NAICS code for this procurement is 336612. LINE ITEMS The following line items are in incorporated into this solicitation: Item: 0001 Description Boat built according to specifications outline in the solicitation and delivered to: Mr. John Casey Choate Schooner Bayou Control Structure USACEMVN-OD-FW 41225 La Hwy 3147 Kaplan, La 70548 FOB DESTINATION QTY 1 Price REQUIREMENTS: The Army Corps of Engineers New Orleans District is acquiring a Boat in accordance with the following specifications which are based on a Lifetyme Model 2684: General: 26 V bottom hull plus 24 dual engine bracket Beam 86 Sides 3/16 5086 Marine Alloy 36 Sides Bottom 3/16 5086 Marine Alloy Decking 3/16 5086 Marine Alloy Floor 3/16 5086 Marine Alloy Cabin 106 3/16 5052 Marine Alloy Longitudinal x3 6061 Flat Bar on 12 Centers Transverse bulk heads 3/16 5086 plate on 24 center Fuel Tank 3/16 5052 Marine Alloy Hull will Include: Foam Filled hull beneath floor Electric Horn Windshield Wiper on Driver Side Cabin will have 2 bench seats one starboard and port behind pilot seat with storage underneath bench seats will have cushions on bottom. Please provide a listing of previous boats built of similar size and complexity FAR 52.212- 2 EVALUATION COMMERICAL ITEMS: This clause is applicable to this procurement. Evaluation Factors are: Conformance to Technical Specification of Proposed Boat Past Performance (listing of previous boats built of similar size and complexity) Price Technical and Past performance, when combined, are equal to price.
